New plaque unveiled yesterday at the house he was born in Middle Warberry road-similar one to be put up at Plainmoor next year to acknowledge his love of TUFC.Didn't realise the scarf he wore on stage in the" Not Only But Also sketches" was a Gulls one!

I sat across the aisle from him a couple of times. Think it was the Swansea play-off final and West Ham cup game?Glostergull wrote:Did he ever frequent Plainmoor much though. Will be good publicity if nothing else.
Apathy Rules...............it's ok though, nobody's that fussed about it........
In the biography of Peter Cook it was stated he was the President of the Junior Supporters club in the early fifties.
I remember him on the Parkinson show in the 70s telling stories about his favourite player of all time, the great Don Mills.
I saw Don the next morning and I told him he was talked about on Parkies show, he was delighted but also said I was about the fifth person to have told him already.
