Argyle to be deducted 10pts
Argyle relegated ?
Pretty much nailed on to go down now as they have appointed an Administrator (although they are not technically in administration) as a consequence they face an immediate points deduction of -10 points ... which leaves them 5 points adrift at the bottom of L1 having played more games than most of their rivals.
Given the transfer embargo that they are under, with no means to strengthen what is already a very poor (and thin) squad they are as good as relegated in my opinion.
I guess the only question is now is will we face them next season, or not? I would certainly rate our chances of playing in League One a lot higher than their chances, put it that way!
Rivalries aside it is a sad day for Devon football really and who would have thought just a few years ago when we were languishing in the BSP, City in L2 and Argyle were riding high in the Championship that the "next" real Devon derby will most likely be against them, rather than that other lot up the road!

Yes, terribly sad day for Argyle
Hope they survive and we have a couple of decent Devon Derbys to look forward to next year.
However - lets hope they currently board do not feel the need to give the Argyle fans the popular side!

Looks like Super beat you by 1 minute to this due to his short intro compared to your more thoughtful one CP!

Relegation all depends if they can keep going until then!
Look forward to a trip to home park next year then or St James park if we go up!

That was a crazy risk they should never of taken and they are paying the penalty for it now. Got to feel for the fans who have seen this coming yet could do nothing about it.

Sorry to hear about the decline of the Gargoyles.. But I suppose this sanction at least is better than extinction...
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

I don't wish misfortune on our Devon rivals, especially Argyle. Devon needs its professional sides to be playing at the highest level that can be achieved.
I've had some wonderful memorable moments both home and away watching Argyle including going to St James Park (the real one), Ayresome Park and Roker Park all in the same season.
Please survive Argyle, your County needs you.
