I've only seen him play once v Walsall, based on that, this appears to be a very good signing. If he carries on creating chances , and setting up goals like he did Saturday then not to worried if he doesn't score many himself.

As well as he forward play, I thought he tracked back well and enjoyed the physical side of the game.

Not seen the lad play (don't do friendlies and after forking out for a season ticket after last season feel they should be free - buts that's for another thread) but encouraged by the positive comments on here.

Lets not expect too much too soon though. I remember Lloyd Macklin looking excellent in pre-seasons past.

Lloyd Macklin, that's the feller!
We were trying to think of that waste of space's name at 1/2 time on Saturday!

Basingstoke are in Conference South and play at the newly re-named SoccerAM Stadium after tying up a deal with SoccerAM. Picture of Helen Chamberlain with Basingstoke scarf in yesterday's Non-League Paper.
And there was Torquay wanting to re-name Plainmoor!

We should have done a deal with Sky to re-name Plainmoor.
