Utility man, so I guess he can play in midfield. Too small to go in the centre without a couple of giants to support him and too slow to be a winger, so, for us, it's a no. Could be a decent enough replacement for Lathrope, though.

Perhaps the willingness of Hargreaves to allow Lathrope to leave indicates that Cooper, a similar style of player, has the manager's confidence to be fit for next season.
Then again, perhaps Chris just didn't rate him and reckons we can do better.

He is mainly a midfielder, but has also played in both full back positions and in the centre too. If we're going to use him though, it probably should be as a midfielder with a back up option of a full back.torkie_buoy wrote: right.. Has he played midfield either?
