With respect, not sure why people always hanker after our old players that are after as much as they can get. Great player whilst he was here but in the end he didn't want to be here.

I created a thread on the issue of former players...
She wouldn't sign for us anyway.

Very ordinary player and a bit of a tosser, in my experience. Will sign for Oxford, they liked him while he was there and he scored a couple of screamers. I can't remember whether he was signed by Chris "money money money" Wilder, or by the new regime. If it's the former, he might have to look elsewhere, but if the latter, he's nailed on to go there, I'd reckon.

I always liked Wroe but there is no chance he would drop out of the league to come here. The irony is that we took him from York. Now they are a league above us.

I'd rather sign SUPER Nicky Wroe!!

People do seem to have short memories.
Wrote's exit was another of Buckle's master classes in man management. Far from ordinary, he could actually pass the ball and his positioning was excellent. Exactly the sort of player we missed last season.
All academic of course as he'll never drop to the conference.

I'm austrianandy luce, just can't log on with my normal username as there is a problem with it so I've registered as an alter ego.lucy6lucy wrote: Welcome Derbyshire gull. Why have you joined?

In fact I quite like Derbyshiregull. It has a ring to it I reckon. =D

/\ And while Andy has made the point. I am not ignoring people. I have had lots of emails and can't reply to everyone anymore. Good news is it seems to let you in eventually I have experienced the issue myself. Please wait it out or create a temporary account like Andy. I am working on a permanent fix.

I have an excellent memory. I can remember, for example, that I thought that Nicky Wroe fella, used to play for us, he was very average. Can't pass a ball any better than Harding, who most on here seem to liken to Beelzebub himself.Kit_robin wrote:People do seem to have short memories.

Thanks for that Louis. Appreciate it. I still can't log in as AAG though so I might have to become DG permanently. :SLouis wrote:/\ And while Andy has made the point. I am not ignoring people.
