.............and the suspension of Goodwin would be a huge loss to the team because?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Not surprised with the FA backing the original decision. Who are you? Torquay?? go away, the ban stands!!! And by the way close the door after you and enjoy non-league life won't you. A****oles!!!! Just letting off steam as it will probably get a lot worse before oblivion hits on us.
Oblivion!!!!

He's about the only player willing to shoot!AustrianAntheaGull wrote:.............and the suspension of Goodwin would be a huge loss to the team because?
Not surprised really with the decision of the FA to go with the ref.
I am not massively bothered by the loss of Goodwin. I haven't seen enough to be as convinced as some. I thought Azeez had more about him. No doubt, Goodwin has a promising future ahead of him but like most of the other loanees we have seen this season, through no fault of their own, just too young and too inexperienced for the situation we find ourselves in.
If the club can wangle it, then he may well be worth a season loan in the conference next year.

Azeez was crap, Goodwin was the only player who actually went past people and threatened opposition back lines with some pace!
It's never, never a red card, disgraceful decision by the FA

In my club manager role with W.B.B YFC I have had many dealings with Devon F.A , nobody need convince me how difficult the F.A can be, I've openly questioned a number of decisions they've regarding our club, even at Kids and youth football the F.A have rules and boy do they stick to them. Not wishing to come across as disrespecting anyone here, but to suggest the national F.A governance unit have upheld the original decision because we're little Torquay and don't matter is both ridiculous and nonsense.
It doesn't matter whether you play for Man.U , Torquay or Hyde , the F.A looks at these things on a case by case basis, if a mistakes been made the original decision would be overturned regardless of who you play for. As said my view was obscured Saturday, we all have our opinions on this and I respect all opinions, but I saw the video, have to say I'm with Scott on this thought the ref got it right.
Feel sorry for Goodwin, he is a genuine honest player, he certainly didn't mean to catch the lad with his elbow, but he did, watched the video countless times now, it could not have been his shoulder , and that's the thing here, an elbow in the face, is an elbow in the face, intent doesn't come into it, it's red card.
