Agreed. Could be another match off? Next Tuesday against Northampton could also be under threat. Anybody in Torquay know any different? Has the section in front of Bristow's Bench been covered? This seems to be the most likely cause of postponements unless of course the whole pitch is flooded.

I'm hoping that we'll get the game on against Bury for lots of reasons: Chris needs to have a homecoming! We need momentum; we need the income from a home game. If the next match is against Northampton, we'll have our new manager's celebration somewhat 'tarnished' by the 'embarrassing' presence of our former manager in the next dug-out! We could also do without building up the back-log of games to be rearranged ( & refunds to be paid out) which can only add to pressure later in the season.

Pitch will have dried out on Sunday-mostly dry and windy then;got saturated again yesterday, dry out again today a bit,get another soaking again tomorrow-and so it goes on. When will it end and the pitch get a chance to recover?

Sunday was a nice day, yesterday was mixed and then its started off sunny and now clouded over in Torquay today

Rain set to come in early this evening and throughout the night. Wednesday looks a wet day too

Thursday/friday/saturday is too far off to be accurate but its going to be showery, the covers should be on when the rain is forecast!

The match will be on, but will be abandoned 12 minutes into the second half.. :(

And all Torquay's remaining games for the season will be played at Home Park.. :)

Title changed.

The weather is atrocious and doesn't seem to be getting any better from the forecast. I think it's fair to say that the game will most likely be called off.

At this rate my best guess would be around the 10th June.

as i'll be in south devon from fri-weds i'm hoping more than most that both games will be on!!

but as everyone can see, its been the wettest year for a century! so they'll prob both be cancelled leading to a ridiculous looking fixture backlog. at least the chesterfield game will def go ahead, and all the catch up games will be at home

out of interest, i wonder what the highest number of postponed games per club is?
still keeping the faith

We'll be lucky to have a ground to play at if this wind keeps blowing the way it is at the moment. It's quite scary.

unfortunately i predict that with friday looking decent in the day the pitch will dry up and ready to go and then a downpour at 1pm on saturday and boom its off!

This is always the best indicator
