Unless the contract is different to what was explained to me then yes. I expect him to be off because he won't be here for peanuts and I'm sure Lathrope will be cheaper.

He's on a non contract deal as I understand, so we hold his registration. He can leave at any point, however the registration we hold from the FL is renewed on a monthly basis. Unless he has somewhere to go, he is better off staying until his registration expires as he'd more than likely have to pay to leave.

As mentioned above, he's been really happy with Damien Davey getting him fit and by all accounts quite enjoys it, so to say he'll leave just because Knill has gone is wide of the mark. He may go, at some point if he has a better offer, but that isn't a guarantee given his injury history.

Exactly, even if Knill was still here he would still be off to the first club to offer him good money & a 2 year contract.

Ashley Yeoman as well...
So Marquis won't be back then.

I'm feeling even better about this now.

Mozika/Marquis OUT - Lathrope/Yeoman IN. Happy January.

Excellent news. Already we're beginning to get the squad together as it should be, hopefully with a new positive spirit for the rest of the campaign..

Very pleased Damon is back, a couple of seasons ago he was my player of the year and he is easily league 2 standard. His effectiveness can be affected by the system but in my opinion he should walk straight back in to the current side.

midfield of Mozika, labadie, and lathrope could be interesting, not sure we'd see a lot of creativity though

Seen Lathrope a couple of times for Hereford and he's played well in games I would certainly say were on a par quality wise with league 2 so at least he is match fit and fresh and could slot in straight away.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Is Manse at right back for you then? GH has been very complimentary about his contribution since Knill's departure, so I can't see him being dropped
