Agreed Taunton. Also just to add, to re-employ Martin Ling a manager the club sacked just 5 months ago, and I believe now fully paid off by the club to boot, would be a whole new embarrassing low point in the clubs history, and make us an even bigger laughing stock than we are right now.
I am hoping that Alan Knill will be gone by Monday as we can't carry on any more, and the good thing about that, is no longer will we have put up with Martin Ling's name being hashed up after every god damn defeat, nor any more of the mind numbing Ling v Knill debates.
when it comes to wanting to take huge backward steps us Torquay fans are second to none, what we don't need is current or ex-players, don't need ex-managers either, we need a whole new approach, new direction. When comes to fire fighting, the world champion is out there un-employed, give him a call.

Martin Ling and Alan Knill are no doubt fine fellows, but whatever the reasons for Ling's departure and Knill's appointment, the fact remains that we have arrived at where we are now, that things have not worked out under Knill as the club had hoped or expected, and are going from bad to worse. We all, manager, club, players, and supporters, know this, and know that something must be done. I agree with you Forever; we cannot go back, and the only way forward is for Knill to depart, and for the club to cut its losses and appoint a new manager.
