Signed on loan today. One month.
TORQUAY UNITED PRESS RELEASE

UNITED have signed striker Jayden Stockley in a one-month loan deal from Bournemouth.
The powerful youngster will immediately go into Alan Knill’s Yellow squad for the weekend trip to Scunthorpe and it is ideal timing after Ade Azeez returned to Charlton with an injury.
Stockley, 20, came through the youth ranks at Bournemouth and stands at well over six feet tall. He spent the first two months of this season on loan at Leyton Orient, who are flying high in League 1.
He has previously enjoyed loan spells with Dorchester Town, Woking and Accrington Stanley, and will wear the number 19 shirt for the Gulls

Finally, Knill gets his man. I believe we have been chasing this guy for pretty much the whole of this year. In fact, I think we were first linked with him when Shaun Taylor was in charge!

Certainly had a decent scoring record in the Conference with Woking last season and it would seem that he has come here for a starting berth as he was only recalled from his stint at Leyton Orient as he was only getting limited game time from off the bench.

I can see him starting up top with Marquis on Saturday, which would be harsh on Benners, but it's the Manager's call and his job on the line!

I saw him play for Orient v Notts County a couple of months back. He came on for the last ten minutes and scored a beauty. Showed good control for a big lad. A physical presence he'll be. Very pleased with this news.

I've not heard of him really tbh but it's another striker so Alan has replaced 2 with 2 so it's sensible business and we have 2 new strikers who could get the ball rolling for us hopefully. Looking forward to seeing them at Scunny.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

My thoughts exactly. Also, Karl Hawley must now know that he's on £50k a year to keep fit. Nice work if you can get it!

Be excited. CP is correct, he's been on his way here for months and only a very late freak injury to a colleague prevented him coming here in January. This isn't the only story of its kind from Knill's tenure, and goes a long way to explaining some of the loanee merry-go-round which we've seen.

I would be surprised if this is true, I don't know how the tax system works on fixed contracts but a £50000 salary equates to £691.60 per week according to http://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/. I would expect a player of his age with the teams he's played for previously to be on more to be honest.

That's net, Phil. Fifty thousand a year is around a grand a week. Upsettingly, I can see that being about right.

You're right, I was getting myself a bit muddled. It does seem about right gross.

A good footballer no doubt, but strikes me as being too similar to Marquis - a relatively mobile target man? Personally a player of Benyon's ilk (or just Benyon as he scored last game anyway) would be a more natural partner for Marquis. We could end up with another Sills - Rendell situation.

That said, he is a good player and has been highly rated at all of his loan and parent clubs.

It appears he is on his way back to us, at least according to the Bournemouth Echo reporter's twitter!

No real surprise, given the AFCB connection. I really don't think we've seen the best of this lad yet and clearly his first month here was disappointing and very stop/start largely down to injury. I would hope that we might get him for the remainder of the season as I would think he is a fair way down the pecking order at Bournemouth.
