No Witch Hunt

Post by AustrianAndyGull »

All this stuff with Knill isn't a witch hunt. Just look at all known evidence and make your own minds up, for me it is just holding someone accountable who clearly isn't showing any signs of being capable that's all. I can actually accept being in the bottom 2 if i had seen enough to suggest that it would be only a matter of time before things turn around but we are actually getting worse each passing week so it would seem.

I know in my own mind what i expect of Knill and to be fair it isn't a lot but it is certainly a lot MORE than i am getting at the moment.

If a hospital patient gets poorlier and poorlier and show no signs of recovery then eventually they will die. A horrible analogy i know but that is us and Knill.

If the patient gets poorlier and poorlier but then shows signs of recovery then there is hope. We haven't got to this stage yet.

Believe what you want but for me personally it is not a witch hunt against Knill. Knill could be my best mate but i'd still tell him the truth and what i think. It doesn't matter who they are, if they are failing as badly as he is then they need to be held accountable. No excuses.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I'm off on another sabbatical now as i feel my forthright views may have offended a few people, unintentionally. We'll not know about Knill until after the next 3 games at least so no point in slating anymore, i just hope sincerely that he can turn us around and keep his job because it means we are back on the up. Until the next 3 games then.

I agree - a witch hunt is a campaign against someone for no good reason. Simply for the sake of it.

Many of us simply want a different manager because the evidence suggests the current one isn't very good. Nothing against Knill personally. He might be lovely. He might not be. That doesn't come into it. His performance as our manager does.

No Andy, don't do it ( nothing wrong with your posts), and it doesn't matter if you have, as I've said many times forums are about opinions and we're all full of them, are any of us right, who knows.

Is it a witch hunt probably not, no. every bloke who has ever signed a contract to become a professional football manager knows win 10 games he is everyone's hero, lose the next 10 and the same people want him dead , it's the way it is.
