Hats off to the man, he is real leader.
I would have no hesitation to give him the role of captain and free up Lee Mansell to get on and play as we know he can.
Think this would be a win - win for the club
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

The bloke is immense.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Im annoyed. I normally have a fiver each way on Downes to score ....and won me a fair few quid last year. However Skybet not up to speed with our team, so could'nt bet on him today.

3pts is priceless though.

Downes is our rock and our leader...!
