Who's going to Wycombe? Let's make some noise!!

Post by tktufc91 »

I know the atmosphere at Plainmoor has been very poor this season, however as a fan who goes to more away games than home ones, I find the atmosphere is a lot better.

So, to all going to Wycombe, let's make a lot of noise and support the team. See you all there.

I'll be in the house and i'm gonna kick some ass man!!!

(Roughly translated as I will be present amongst the Gulls faithful at Adams Park and i'm going to sing lots of songs in a slightly aggressive manner but not so much as to scare innocent bystanders - man). :)

Not been since Fleetwood (although I would have been at Rochdale if my car hadn't of crocked) so i'm mad for this one i'm tellin' ya!!

Let's make some noise yellow people!!! :scarf:

(apologies should you be a newborn with jaundice or indeed have drank so much that your liver has nearly stopped functioning causing a similar jaundiced complexion - either way i'm deeply sorry for any offence caused).

Can't we come with a song about Adams Park so we can sing about getting a win there or something? I think we all need a few new songs to lighten the mood and show that us being sh*te is just water off a duck's back.

It is time. We must have new stuff for Wycombe.

Just to round off, can I see the M25 from Wycombe? If so i'm not going.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

We won't make any more or any less noise than we usually do at away games. Given the state of the performance on Saturday and the fact that it's Wycombe (far enough to be a pain in the arse to get to, and not a team we really care about) I reckon we'll have 250 there and we'll barely make a sound unless the performance is really good.

I'll be up there with Tufc Hills and another mate. Cheap to get in as well only £12 in advance if your 25 or under if brought in advance.

I'll be there. Yet to see us lose this season (Northampton away and Hartlepool home), and it can only be an improvement on last season's shocker there.

Hopefully we can get a result of some sort.

No you can't. You cannot even see the m40 let alone the m25. Just a note though. if you park. try to find a parking space before you reach Adams park. If you get into the stadium they charge at least a fiver if not more now. It's down to the rugby club for some reason. premiership prices for all.
Many of the premises just before open their gates to parking and charge less.. The further away the less it is I think

the recommendation is to come off the M40 at Junction 4 & to use the Cressex Park & Ride & catch a bus from there to the ground. They run at 1330,1350 ,1410 & 1430; returning at 1700 & 1730 (which should just give me time to hunt down AAG at the end of the match & congratulate him in person at his lack of hissy fits in recent weeks & decent contributions to this forum !)

Haha, thanks GG and Taxilady! :-D

The counselling is beginning to work now I feel. :)

GG. I went last year (bloody dreadful game) for the first time, I think it was a fiver to get in if i'm not mistaken. They had a special away fans offer going down so I took advantage. I parked on a grassy hill overlooking the stadium as it was easier and i'm a lazy b*stard but I paid for it. I'll do the same again next weekend no doubt although it's a pain in the arse to get away after the game.

Taxilady, I would be honoured to meet you just so long as it is after the game so I don't feel compelled to buy you a coffee! :na:

I am quite generous actually for a Yorkshireman. o:)

The proper recommendation is to travel with a disabled friend and park 5 yards from the exit from the away stand :keepie:

I noticed on the Football League show that Burton were given seats opposite the main stand. York too were not put in the seats behind the goal so expect to be on the side too.

I'll be going with a few mates, we will all sing and try to get some noise going, anyone know roughly where the singers will be? haven't been to Wycombe away before, but been to watch the wasps so am familiar.

Just checked my ticket and it does confirm we are at the side in the main stand as opposed to behind the goal in previous seasons.
