They are top of the league as well - we seemed to have missed out there. I always had the impression that Ball (and Hawley) were not Knills first choice targets.
I actually think that a decent striker alongside a fit and firing Benyon would make us a far better team but nopt sure where Knill is going to find that person.

Well thats bloody weird then. They surely won't let him stay there if he isn't getting any gametime. Maybe they were looking at him getting League 1 experience rather than League 2.

He started in the JPT and played 90 mins but he has no chance of starting in the league in place of the named above he would be so better of here, he would start every match and I agree he is a decent player.
Without wishing to hijack this thread further the striker situation has puzzled and confused me since the summer.
When Benyon signed all the noises were that he was to go straight in to the first eleven with bigger lad (Manset preferred) being brought in to play along side him. When Hawley and Ball turned up it seemed to go against everything that had been said earlier in the summer.
