Not LYNX Safari?Modgull wrote:The fix has worked for me but I use Safari (Apple Mac).

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Glad you asked Steve. I ate all the cookies I had in the jar but that didn't seem to work and I had no idea what a cache was!stevegull wrote:Mine is also pissing about. How do I go about deleting cookies?

Hi Louis,
I've tried PM-ing you about another problem but the message is stuck in my outbox.
The "other problem" is the fact that the posting totals against each poster's entry have frozen. For instance your postings on this thread all have a total of 1045.
I don't know if these bugs are all linked but I'm sure most members would welcome this being sorted.

Hi Phil. The message will stay in your Outbox until Louis reads it. He's busy planning for a Baby so only spends limited time on here at the moment, even then it's usually to deal with any site problems. If there is anything I can do to help just let me know, I'll be only too happy to help if possible.
The post count is updated against the users name and will show the total on every post, not just the most recent one.

I have spent two days not being able to post anything on here (some will probably be pleased) - as like others I am logged out as soon as I log in. Even with my miniscule computer knowledge this has surely got to be an issue with the site rather than everyones computer.
If Louis is that busy before the baby arrives then I can assure him he is going to be a whole lot busier once the stork delivers!

Louis has been in communication with our server providers and they have been working on a fix for these issues - we are hopeful that they should be sorted very soon (if not sorted already).

they've certainly done something because I couldn't stay logged in, like several others. However, now that I've cleared the cache & deleted cookies for the umpteenth time in 3 or 4 days, I can log in & stay there. But when I come back, I still have to log-in again, even though I've ticked the box for automatic.

Thanks Louis. Very helpful. Whoever would have known that? Didn't even have a telly when I were a lad!Louis wrote:Here's a good user guide which explains why you should do this regularly as well... http://www.pcworld.com/article/242939/h ... okies.html
