Is Hutch playing the right-back spot super?

Lathrope might be starting Sat if Manse has to go to right-back so not the best timing for him!

Not good for Lathrope ... the only way he could make up for it is to go up the other end and score!

He just has, 3-2! Full Time.

Any chance of a match report from super and or CP? Sounded like a good game!

Wasn't there Rich, just got update via twitter feed.

It does sound as though Dan Sullivan scored a couple of absolute belters though!

Big improvement from the (last?) time we played a reserve game up there and lost 8-0 if memory serves me right with Rice in goal and Ellis and LRT in the centre of defence I seem to recall.

Edit: My mistake, we actually lost the game 9-1 a couple of years ago.

Is that Damon's first goal for us at any level? I certainly can't remember him scoring before.

Is Sully a genuine first team option now?

Was Nathan Craig any good (by which I mean, of course, was he 10 or 11 out of 10 good?)

Matt.

Ill try to give a summery, we started the better side and Danny Sullivan opened the scoring with a shot from outside of the area. Then Cheltenham got back in the game with a penalty that was given away by Jamie alexandrou who is a youth team player who was playing at left back. It was a blatant penalty after a shove in the back. Kirtys Mackenzie and jake Hutchings were at the back and to be honest I thought they both did superb against Ashley Vincent and both of the goals that Cheltenham scored were because of individual errors the one for the penalty and Lathrope who tried to thread a ball in his own area. Dan sully worked very hard and just before half time hit another screamer into the top corner. Then came the equaliser after Tom cruise playing at right back played the ball to Lathrope who passed straight to the Cheltenham forward in his own area who squared it to the forward who slotted it home. Then from a corner Lathrope was at the back post to tap in the winner. In my opinion the plus points were Danny Sullivan , Kirtys Mackenzie and Jake Hutchings. Courtney. Cameron showed some good touches and Craig passed the ball well. Niall was a bit disappointing

Thanks super. A hint that with Cruise playing and right-back that he may well start here in place of the suspended Tonge on Saturday. A little worrying seeing as he was suspect here when he had to cover last year. Did he hold his own on this showing?

I think he's only going to get better dont forget he's still learning and as with all of our youngsters they are far from the finished article but on today's performance I saw what knill has seen in pre season and on present form he is in front of yeoman.
