Would you take our current league position?

Post by stevegull »

BBC has reset the league tables for the season ahead and I am just curious as to how positive or negative our fanbase is!

In alphabetical order we are one place out of the relegation zone so I simply ask if you were offered this position for our club to finish next season... would you take it?

I have allowed re-voting on the poll as peoples' answers may change based on transfer policy or pre-season.

Not a chance, lower to mid table playing some attacking football is perfectly fine for me and I believe this is achievable once our squad has been assembled. I don't think anyone should get carried away early on if we are doing really well or really poorly, so long as the performances are indicative of us turning a corner from the Ling era then results will improve once everyone clicks.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

No, regardless of signings two years in a row of relegation scraps is not something I wish to return to.
After all the hard work since the consortium took over after our last relegation I sincerely hope that last season was a blip in their long-term vision for the club.

Not in a million years would I take a relegation battle again. We should not have been in that position last season and next season we need to be playing well and at least in with an outside chance for the play-offs. I'd rather be disappointed at missing out on the play-offs than happy we've survived.

At the moment yes considering we barely have any players...When we sign some players then hopefully we'll be higher in the table..

ABSOLUTELY NOT !!! It's difficult to make a judgement at present as we don't know what players AK & CB will bring in, but I am hoping for a top half of the table position at worst ..... say, about 10th. And a decent Cup run !

If I was to be happy with 22nd place then I would not watch any football next season. Higer mid table, playoff outsiders has to be the target
