Hi Barry,
My son lives in California and if there was some way of providing a free bus I would be on to it. I am in discussions with Country Bus but I fear they do not have any bus stops close to you unfortunately!

Andy - good luck in your new role and well done for sticking your head above the parapet by posting on the Forum. In the present situation we find ourselves in, this is a very, very minor point. Half Time collections - there is no longer an announcement on the Tannoy for whom the collections are for (it used to be announced before Half Time was taken over by trying to find someone with a ticket for the Cross Bar challenge). There was a poor lad on the Pop side with a bucket at the last home game - nobody knew what he was collecting for !

Hi tomogull
Thank you for your kind words.
I have asked that there are tannoy announcements for future collections.
Regards,
Andrew

Alpine Joe - Actually I do not shout abuse at our players for starters. You are indeed supposed to sit in the numbered seat as I checked with the steward at a previous match. I went to sit in my allocated seat at a previous match only to find it was occupied so I just sat somewhere else.

No, come on Joe, Tezza wouldn't shout abuse at the players, he waits until he's safely hidden behind his keyboard before daring to criticise.

Tez, how can you moan at The Candy Man about having a numbered seat, yet 5 minutes later tell the story of disregarding the numbering system entirely? It invalidates completely your original complaint.

Matt.

a bit of good news mr candy is torquays best ever signing with this fella at the helm torquay can start looking forward to a much brighter future. A true pro with proper people skills which certain members of the torquay staff could do with learning how to deal with things like this fella can do. teeboo is back however he brings some not great news as ime hearing there is another nail being readied for the old coffin today when is our luck gonna change answers on a postcard.

At the Exeter game I bought tickets for the Bench on the phone and the tickets they sent me where for season ticket holders seats when we arrived at the (re-arranged) game. I went and asked the nearest steward and she insisted I went to the ticket office as there had been a mistake and season holder’s seats had been allocated. I told her no chance as it was 10mins before kick-off and just imagine how many people would have the same problem. So I (and my family) sat where was empty at the time.

Lucky (because the game was postponed) there was plenty of seats but god knows what carnage this would have caused if the situation occurred for the sold out bench (if the game had not been called off).

However - I am sure Andy and the club are aware of this massive cock-up and things have been put into place so it will not happen again!
