Daniel Leadbitter
Does anyone know what Danny Leadbitter has done? Is he injured?
I'm baffled how a player widely credited with being the best in a Torquay shirt in the few games he started has suddenly been completely left out of the match squad.

He's quick and can get forward and gets caught out of position at times because of this but we need to risk this for the sake of creating attacks. I can't understand why he hasn't been made a regular either Phil.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Danny is fit and extremely frustrated at being left out when as said above he played very well in his last few games. A player even more frustrated is Tom cruise what does this lad have to do to get a game. It's as if Nico has a clause in his contract that says if he's fit he plays. He has been appalling all season and still gets a start. A player who shall remain nameless told me on Saturday that cruise should be starting every week as nico's legs have gone !!

yep i say get danny and tom in now, nico is clearly past his sell by date and joe aint up to it, he was shocking on saturday, danny has pace to get himself out of trouble.
Agreed, I wonder just how much influence cocco the clown Taylor is still having on the team, think Danny Leabitter probaly has paid for his lack of expereince, and the fact the one thing that lets him down is he does get into good attacking positions only to cross far to may balls into row "X"
Knill more than likey advised by Taylor may have felt Oastler would have been the better player to get decent ball into the box, only problem with that is Joe's defensive work which for some reason this season has left a lot to be desired, Jjoe only started to look comfortable when Macklin came on and he had protection.
There is no doubt in my mind if Leabitter had played Saturday, the first 2 goals would not have happened, and as we would not have been chasing the game it is likely goal no 3 would not have either, Danny as said by others has the pace to get back, and from a defence point of veiw is sound.

Leadbitter to me seems the only player who's not afraid to run the length of the pitch with the ball. Refreshing. His final balls often have something to be desired, but can you imagine the pace if you pared him on the right with Niall Thompson? Crikey.

Spot on. When he started the Accrington game it was clear that he WANTED the ball and he WANTED to try and get forward and make things happen and he did go on a few runs the length of the pitch and a few overlaps but they came to nothing as the rest of the team were sh*t and lacked that desire and entusiasm. He tried to make things happen and would have been successsful if the others had tried too. Leadbitter HAS to now be a regular in our side it's as simple as that IMO.

Leadbitter, Cruise, Craig, ridiculous that they're not in the side!
