Leadbitter played against Harrogate, and did very well.

Having seen Cruise come on as sub against Rochdale I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team. As for Oastler - he has been terrible all season. Mistake after mistake. Can't remember the home game that Leadbitter played but he was suprisingly excellent and for a first game did reall well. Think he was responsible for the goal that the opposition scored but that apart showed genuine pace and attacking flair. On that performance he looked far better than Oastler.

If you asked me that question last season then I would agree with you. This season he's looked a poor image of himself and along with Oastler is genuinely lucky to be keeping his place. Cruise is worth a look unless Nico recovers his form pronto as is Leadbitter for Oastler. Mansell on the other hand looked the same as ever the other night.

If it was up to me I'd have Mansell and Craig with Lathrope in the holding role. Ling sees it differently and who am I to argue with him?

Of course it is, I'm just wondering what you're basing your opinions on.

Ben, you "support" about half a dozen different teams so excuse me if I don't take seriously your expert analysis based on what, one game this season? ;-)

ok so we drop Nicholson on sat and bring in cruise who hasn't really played even a hour over the season. people seem to think he Is something special cause he played one dead rubber for arsenal. wake up and smell the coffee that nicho is a very capable left back in league 2.

That is terrific. This is the kind of thing that makes you know that lower-level footballers are real people who just try and be nice. Can you ever imagine a Premier League player doing this kind of act without wanting it plastered all over the papers so the world knows how great they are? I know I can't think of many.

True club legend IMO, sorry Ben. Ok so this season he hasn't been near his best but then neither have most of them so that's fair enough. Last season he was immense and whether it was a freak season or not i don't care because before last season he was also immense so i'd have him in the team all day long. Cares 100% for the club, gives 100% on the pitch and apparently he is a decent chap too (never met him but reports suggest this ).

Agree. Manse has to be first on the team sheet. He had a great season, last year, which was made great by the amount of goals that he scored. He was never going to, in all honestly, be able to repeat that this time out. Apart from the goals, I dont think he is any different from last year. He's our natural skipper and, obviously, has bags of experience. Would not want to lose him.
