He worked well with Hurst, a real understanding. Freed up Hurst who got MOTM for his attacking flair.

Really pleased to see Durrell back with us. I thought he worked well with Hurst tonight and although he is not particularly physical, provided a lot of calmness and stability. Two qualities we need to encourage both on and off the field.

Cracking signing - certainly didn't expect this. I know there were rumours he played in the trial game against Brentford but I didn't think we could afford to hand out a contract. I'm surprised he's not got himself fixed up elsewhere. Can see him linking well with Hurst. Lot of pace down that right side!

Now we're talking. One of the few high points of last season, this gives our defence a much healthier look.

Berry - Smith - McDonald - Butler

Don't know who you are, but a bit of research would tell you he signed on non contract terms with Alfreton on 19/9. He played one game. It appears he has now signed on CONTRACT terms with Torquay. Why are you so keen to talk down Torquay, this is a FANS forum?

After Cheltenham gave him a 'free', looks like he needs to get his career back on track. I thought he did the job when last here; let's hope he's fit.

wbw you don't get a say in this, you know Durrell Berry isn't the name of one of our stands right?

Didn't he sign for Alfreton yesterday - having not played for anyone since May?

He made a big impact in his time here 12 months ago, so this is very welcome news. First and foremost he is a solid defender, and after conceding 7 at home we could do with a focus on that.

This also points to a 4-4-2 going forward as Hurst has been one of our better players recently (offensively at least).

great news, a proper right back, as said above a chance to push Hurst forward in a 4-4-2, we'll see tonight. Despite most people thinking Ramshaw would certainly go when a new manager was appointed, beginning to wonder whether he's pitching for the job.
