When was the last time a Premier League manager got asked a question like that? Better yet, when was the last time a PL manager gave a meaningful answer?
It's all well and good wanting answers to those sorts of answers, but the chances are, it's all very technical and boring. You want Knill to either say "yup, Hawley is shit, I shouldn't have signed him and I'm allowing his signing on fee to be deducted from my salary" or you want him to say "I think Hawley has done well and Benyon is a ****". Neither will happen, so it's a waste of a post match question, which is the sort of thing which, if it happens too often, is liable to get a sports reporter the sack.
I'm very much afraid that every club has these sorts of questions to be answered. Many have asked, no one has ever got a real answer.
Matt.
