Torquay United at 9-1 to be champions next season, will put £20 on that.

I see 'bigger' clubs Stockport, Notts County, Wrexham, Grimsby, and Chesterfield all shorter odds than us, despite us finishing second and would have won it if not for injuries and having the manager with the best record in the National League.
I would pin that up in tbe dressing room next season as extra motivation .

I can see Notts and Chesterfield being bookies favourites - cash talks. Stockport about on par with us with Wrexham only threatening. Grimsby I expect will be in for a big shock playing National League on the cow-pat field of Kings Lyn under the watchful eye of a blind NL referee or possibly having six point expunged because Dover decide to throw their toys out the pram again.

Damn, I was hoping we'd be at least 16s before piling in. Ah well. Maybe I'll wait for the morons to back Notts and Wrexham, this hopefully pushing our odds out

Last year we were 20 or 25/1 at start of season with 8 or so teams more fancied than us. So, although there's strong teams in the division to worry about we've definitely made progress in terms of how we sit amongst them.
