Well, will you?

Games at Plainmoor will coincide precisely with our away matches.

Matt.

Only the away and home match against them! (should that be our fate one way or another).

Added in 2 minutes 23 seconds:
I wonder if they would give us the home ends when we play them away should it turn out that way?!

Agree, only when we're playing each other.

When Truro play at Plainmoor, will all profit/proceeds go to them? Just thinking, if I went to one of their matches, who gets the money for my pre/post match pint, my half-time pasty etc? Watching live footy (at home) as a neutral, whilst knowing perhaps that 'some' of the days takings will be benefiting 'my' club might appeal.

Oh, and to answer the question, yes, I'd consider going to one or two if it were possible.

I imagine all match day income goes to Truro, but they have to pay the costs of staging the game out of their gate receipts.

I may be tempted to pop along to one or two games out of interest, depending on how much it will cost!

Why would anyone not want to go to watch Truro next season ? We've missed the Martin Rice School of Goalkeeping this season (although this is a very unfair post 'cos he seems to be doing okay between the sticks on the other side of the Tamar).

Not for me, I'm afraid. My time is taken up with supporting Whitby Town F. C.

Ah, Whitby, and the memory of the Magpie Cafe / Restaurant. Fish and chips so good it spoilt me for life :-|

Wouldn't question anyone's motives for going to watch another football team. Be it a one off, or every game when Torquay are away.

I don't imagine that it'd have any further financial gain for Torquay. All income would go to Truro.

Each to there own though. Some just want to take in live football.

Absolutely no idea why we'd want to do that. No Truro fans are going to travel up to Torquay to see United play for 30% off or whatever. So the only thing it could produce is some leakage of United fans to Truro if Truro are doing better than us in the CS and even then I doubt many United fans would be that traitorous. It's hardly like having Chelsea ground sharing with you.
