Have you a link. I presume they are sharing with us. If that's the case great, if not ...

Would our pitch stand up to being used every Saturday? I think not....

Their hopes for a new stadium look nice though....

The link was really to show that the proposed stadium looks very nice and is yet another example of how a club, who was once lightyears behind United, are rapidly rising and now sit on our shoulder with every intention of overtaking us in the next few years.

Whether it's going to happen or not, I'll wait for official notification from the club. I wouldn't be surprised though.

I wonder if a TUFC ST holder would get free entry or reduced entry to all Truro home games? I can't see many from Truro travelling all this way.

Good luck to Truro. It would be good for the S W to have another team at Nationwide League even Football League level. However we have nothing to worry about from them. Our destiny is in our own hands. We have a pretty good ground which wouldn't look out of place were we to ever get back up to Division One. We just need to find a formula to turn things round.

This is what worries me. If our destiny is in our own hands, how will we ever find that formula..?? :(

This has to be one of my favourite posts of recent weeks. Talk about missing the point!

I'm a bit surprised that Truro went with this is their preferred option - is there really nowhere closer to them that they could use that is Conf South standard? Not even some of the rugby grounds in Cornwall? Their crowds will surely plummet with this next season, as what a horrendous journey that is to make! I guess the retail development money they will get for their current home will be so substantial it will make up the shortfall. Either that, or Truro will go into admin again...........

The big concern I'd have with this groundshare is what will it do to the state of the Plainmoor pitch. The money coming in will be great, but it won't do our playing prospects any good - whatever division we are in - if we have a ploughed field to play on, or a huge fixture backlog.

yes your are right Jeff I miss read the post but glad you had a little chuckle. How many Truro fans would make it up to Plainmore ,about the same if it where the other way around so all in all a bizarre idea.
