1-1 at half time. No line up on Twitter, but a trialist by the name of Sean Finch got the goal for TUFC.

Finch scored against the Seniors last time out. Plays locally I believe.

Sean plays for Watcombe and has now scored in all of his trial games I believe

3-1 FT. Bayan Fenwick with one goal. And maybe an own goal? Twitter doesn't say :)

What Nicholson would have got out of that I do not know!!!

Speiss, Odofin, Yeoman, Fenwick, Prynn, Marsh all played.
Fenwick looked lively and scored a good goal.

Would have thought that would of been a good time for Fairhurst to get 90 minutes under his belt and some game time but obviously not.

Good attendance for a friendly. Would of said 100+.

This was a good work out for Torquay and Bideford with both clubs needing to get players on a pitch after injuries and suspensions. Torquay had Carmicheal and Fenwick back from injuries and they were the stand out players for Torquay. Ben Woods was a constant threat to Torquay until changes were made. Ed Palmer was strong for Bideford along with Sam Chaney who made a few telling passes and had one individual effort in the second half after beating two players in the six yard box saved.

So Fenwick and Carmichael played Acadia would you say on tonites showing Carmichael was worth playing Saturday instead of Heslop

Surely anyone who possesses a pair of football boots would be worth playing Saturday instead of Heslop.

Both players are not the same kind of player but tonight we had class on the pitch and that says it all. YES
I still like Chaney and I think its a crying shame that he's not playing in a Torquay shirt. I am not saying that tonight he was one of the top players but he's got the quality that is needed in OUR SIDE CLASS. He makes those passes that create for others.

Scot got on for about 15 minutes did ok I;ve watched him once before a few weeks ago he's quite competent and in a one off game could help the club from what I've seen.

Yep, he got on for the last ten minutes and made one very good block too.

As for our second goal, it wasn't an own goal but a near post flick in by our number 11 who it turns out was one Ray Spear - yep that Ray Spear (personally I didn't recognise him without his long locks) who briefly earned a pro deal with us a few years back before being let go - most recently been playing out in Sweden as I understand it.
