In todays news it was revealed we've signed him from Yeovil on a non-contract basis.
Not sure if he's signed on to be Manager though

I wonder if this was a Paul Cox signing.. Been at Mansfield in the last couple of years so it fits the description of a PC signing! Bet he was pleased to hear the news of PC!

We are a little light in this area so I would hope there will be someone incoming to replace him?!

I suppose with Richards and Carmichael fit again and Hurst and Butler being pushed forward plus Briscoe, Murombedzi, Heslop and Chaney, we're okay for midfield players. Also, he seemed to be strapped up whenever he played so obviously not 100% fit. Shame, though - I thought he had something about him.
Yes - the brutality of football. If he'd scored last night, he would have been an overnight hero.

Thought he was on non-contract terms - Nicho must have just asked him to close the door on his way out

I think put like this, it's a good decision. Richards is currently on form and nailed down for a first team spot, and Heslop is getting match fit/Carmichael is coming back from injury to partner him. There are a number of areas which could be improved, so freeing up any money for Nicholson/Milton to spend can only be a good thing.
I think a winger or striker, depending on the preferred formation, would be my first choice for a new addition. Fairhurst coming back in a month's time should help too.

Nicho mentions bringing someone else in soon; have some patience, he can't turn everything round in ten minutes !
