The TorquayFans Player of the month results are:

1st: Courtney Richards (27)
=2nd: Dan Butler (23)
=2nd: Exodus Geohaghon (23)
4th: James Hurst (19)
5th: Alex Fisher (18)

The seven individual winners were Exodus Geohaghon (Macclesfield), Fabian Speiss (Wrexham), Exodus Geohaghon & Alex Fisher (Halifax), Nathan Smith (Woking), Courtney Richards (Grimsby), Courtney Richards (Cheltenham) and Courtney Richards (Eastleigh).

As a rough comparison, 27 is the same total scored by the August 2014 winner Luke Young, although that was from only 6 games. Richards came joint 4th in August 2014 (when he didn't even start the season as first choice) and then second (again behind Young) in September 2014, so he seems to start the season well.

Dan Butler was the only player to score points in all seven games, although Hurst did score in all five games in which he played. Angus MacDonald scored points in six games and didn't even make the top five, whilst Geohaghon was at the other extreme, scoring very well in four games and nothing at all in the other three.

Interesting statistics Gulliball - thanks for producing them. No real suprises but James Hurst creeping into the top five when he missed the first couple of games says a lot about his performances. He looks an excellent signing. Good to see Alex Fisher up there in the five. I watched him closely in the Cheltenham game and he works very hard and covers a lot of ground. He was always there if the Cheltenham 'keeper spilled anything - unfortunately, everything stuck.

Only surprise to me is that Nathan Smith isn't it top five-deserves to be imo.

Not surprised at all to see Courtney win this, the last game I saw was the 3-0 defeat to Cheltenham and thought he was the only one who could say they put in a good shift. Glad to see he is back to his best just like the start of last season, but lets hope he doesn't start to lose form just like the end of last season..
