Hi Guys.
As I am having trouble getting around these days i am missing a lot of football. and miss you lot too. wow theres an addmision. taxilady. matt. diamond girl. Mr Paul Bastard. Louis. Skybluegull. SG. Scott. Oh so many. Plainmoor.(will always be that) is my second home and I miss it. But with things healthwise I dont get the chance to say Merry Christmas in person.
We may all go on about how the team is playing rightly or wrongly. But let us in this Christmas season just take stock for a moment.. football is not the be all and end all of our lives. its our hobby.. what really matters is our lives. or family our friends. havitna roof over our head and being able to pay the bills. etc. So as we go through this festive season. lets try to give a little time to think of others. some are not as lucky as we are. some indeed have tragedy to live with. homelessness and isolation to contend with. no money to pay essential bills and no one to turn to when life hits the deck. football may be to some their main passion but lets not let it go to our heads and go overboard. Lets keep a little perspective on life when tempted to have a go. and lets see that 2015 can be a season of progress. one way or the other.
May 2015 see those of us who are wondering if life is worth it. see an upturn. those who are struggling with bills find help to get out of the trap. those no hope find hope. thos with no home find a home. and some of those are indeed Gulls fans. Lets spread a bit of light where there is none. May all of you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year for 2015.
