Two well taken goals there. Impressive.

At the final whistle there is a United player on his knees with his head on the ground. Anybody know who it is and what's happened? He appears unable to stand up!! Rice comes over, hugs him and he is really unsteady on his feet, then (I presume) Gareth Law comes on, he goes to the ground and the camera pans away.

Any ideas??

He was able to collect his MOTM award in No 10s later. Seemed fully recovered by then. The ball had smacked into the side of his head !

Thanks Dutchgull for posting the highlights. It was good to watch it again, after a very enjoyable evening. It also reminded me of the great halftime entertainment when Gilbert's head fell off !!!

That fist goal is a cracker, and great finish from Ajala. Never a penalty though, cheers ref.

Scott - just for your information the player on the floor was Gus Macdonald. He is a center half who plays for Torquay. The home team were the ones in yellow. :O

Being a fan of GILBERT, I like to keep in touch with his birdy doings; but I cannot remember the half-time incident when his head fell off - that must have been something to see.

Does anyone know if Gulls Player will be showing any highlights this season?

Whoops - just seen the topic further down on the same subject - so my new question is:

Is there a permanent link to the You Tube highlights ?

That is a great opening goal, from the build up to the through ball to the finish, really top notch all round.

The penalty decision for the second is a shocker. I don't think their defender even moves, let alone makes contact with Cameron. Very nicely taken however, and if we are going to attack this season and pick up a few penalties then a good penalty taker is vital.

The third is a nice finish too.

Yep - can't really agree more. Higher quality than I saw on Gulls Player last season most of the time.
