TU at 16/1 seems worth a punt. What do the bookies know that we don't? Not a lot considering they have the gasheads at 6/1.

Looking at that list, I think Chester, Woking and Telford might surprise people. I think the bookies have it about right for us, even though it is pretty depressing to see it like that.

I think Bristol Rovers, FGR, Kidderminster, will all fail to live up to their odds.

How have Eastleigh got into the favourites - two good strikers but is that enough?

Money and everybody tipping them. Even if, they are not as good as people think and it's unlikely that they will win it, the fact they are being mentioned, raising awareness of them etc, the bookies are likely to receive an increase in bets and would presumably adjust their odds accordingly, because if Eastleigh did win it, the bookies would be wiped out otherwise. Talk can reduce the odds, just as much as potential signings etc.

Being one of the favourites in this League is more of a curse than an advantage. I am happy that we are tipped to be an also ran, the only way is up.

I feel like the question "How can X team be that price?" comes up pretty much every season, and as Hector suggests, it has pretty much nothing to do with the team's actual chances of winning the league. It's all about weight of money (which is why England are always a good 40% shorter than they really should be to win..anything)

Had a dabble on the 16-1 e/w and with my free bet money for opening an account with betbullyvictor I stuck it all on Bowman 33-1 e/w for leading goal scorer.

This, of course, was all before the Weymouth showing!

Exeter City, bookies second favourite for relegation. At least they have got that one right.
