Has joined the coaching staff at AFC Hornchurch. It's fair to say that's a bit of a come down but I wish him all the best and hope it works out.

Would most likely still be a league club. But in Hargreaves I trust to get us back up

If he is happy doing what he is doing then I'm over the moon for him. I wish him nothing but the best in moving forwards with his life, not just his career and have total admiration for the way in which he has not hidden away from his personal 'challenges' in his life. More of a man than many out there. Good luck Martin!

Just to put some clarity on the post, martin has agreed to assist AFC Hornchurch with their pre season training doing a couple evenings a week. Yes its a bit of a come down from what he would like but he's still in love with football and prepared to assist/work where he can to stay doing what he loves. For me that is very admirable under the circumstances and difficult times he has endured over recent years. Good luck to him in his fightback as I'm sure he wishes Torquay the same !
