Pick your main central striker for Rovers game
Coulthirst I know Benyon on paper looks best choice but he's had his chances and blown them.

Bodin and Shaq, Bodin has always said he's a striker
We'll be back...

I've yet to see any evidence that he's a footballer, let alone one capable of claiming to be a specialist in any one position.sam_ wrote:Bodin and Shaq, Bodin has always said he's a striker
Matt.

We have nothing to lose now so I would be attack minded. Shaq & Billy served by Chapell & Cameron as the wide players in a 4-4-2 formation.
A 3-2 win for United in a game that puts Rovers in the mix to go down. You never know!

Take your pick: my 84 year old aunt; my dog; Gus Honeybun; the rhino at Paignton Zoo; John Cleese. All of whom would do a better job than the player that is actually picked by CH.

I'd go with Coulthirst and Goodwin up front with either Bodin, Cameron or Chapell on the flanks.
Cooper in mid-field is another change I'd make.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Cargill at left back.

Matt.

Sack the lot off and play the youth strikers. Send the loanees back as they now are not required and never play the likes of Bodin etc again in a Gulls shirt. At least this way someone actually benefits from the last 5 games and they aren't just write offs. I don't see the point in going with players who won't be here in 5 games time. The damage is done, now make best use of these last 5 games Chris which is the common sense option I feel. Oh wait.....................................................
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
What sort of paper does Benyon look best on? Toilet roll?arcadia wrote:Coulthirst I know Benyon on paper looks best choice but he's had his chances and blown them.
Benyon, on paper, is even more shocking than he is on the pitch.
...anyway, it has to be Coulthirst. With Chappel - our top scorer, who himself has not scored for 6 months.

Play ALL attack minded players even in the midfield with just Lathrope dropping off. Play 3 up top and 3 at the back and put them under pressure. Then sit back and enjoy a decent game of football win lose or draw.
Alternatively, do it the CH way and watch the same old turgid shit except that you probably deserve it because you have been warned. If you go tomorrow and CH earns his cash in the usual manner then we play poorly again and dissolve quickly like a glass full of solpadeine. Enjoy the game folks!!!
I guess I'm still angry about me not getting my free pint from Chris for going to Hartlepool even though it cost me over £100 quid too. :}

We need to score goals. I'd put both Coulthirst and Goodwin up front. Along with Danny Stevens of course..

Although im 99% sure Hargreaves would not go this attacking
also if we get a penalty bodin can score one
Last season he did anyway.
