I have a couple of points to ask Mr Hargreaves, who I presume directs our training sessions and dictates the game tactics.
1. At throw ins - why do we persist with trying to throw the ball at Showumni's head ? He appears incapable of jumping more than 3 inches of the ground. He is not Tim Sills!!
2. As this seems to be our main tactic, opponents always double up on him making the chance of him connecting with the ball almost as likely as winning the lottery. Why do you continue to coach that ??
3. Is it your instruction for the team to a) not take quick throw ins b) insist all team members remain static to make it as difficult as possible for the thrower to find a team mate?
I am not suggesting a change of tactic will change our fortunes, but it would lower my blood pressure and stop our opponents regrouping at their leisure.

You forgot one.

4. can you coach players on how to take a throw in, so we don't ever again concede possession as a result of a foul throw(yes these are professionals)

Totally agree with point 3.

I lost count today the number of times we had a throw and not one player made any effort to give the thrower an option. It was so easy for County to mark our players and win the ball back.

The foul throw was just embarrassing.............

In my opinion a lot of throw ins aren't legal these days. I always thought the ball had to be thrown from behind the head an awful lot aren't!
