In the grand scheme of things, I and most probably most of us get angry about what is going on at Torquay. But the club getting relegated should not result in fans stop supporting them. Remember man city playing in the old div 3, they had crowds of over 30k, and look how they are doing now. I can understand fully, Fans not buying a season ticket if we/when are relegated but to say we will not support Torquay is crazy. Did these same people dessert the club in our last relegation in 2007, or did we create new supporters in 2009 when promoted back to the FL. This is Torquay you either love them, well there is no other option in my opinion.

I have kept this to a local poll as most away fans/exiles will still go matches what ever I think. Just can't believe fans will dessert the club if relegated, please proof me wrong

won't be renewing my season ticket but will pick and choose the games,a lot depends on how we do,plus been to see the Exeter Chiefs a few times this season so might get a few more games in at sandy park next season

I'll still be as enthusiastic as ever and will endeavour to get to any game I can. I love the club, I love most of it's fans and I love the area and I love matchday and I love football and cats too so I'm in.

I'm sure a huge number will do the same (although possibly not the Chiefs part!). As a result of that I would have thought season ticket sales will plummet with the result being most games will drop from the standard 2,000 mark to around the 1,500 there the other night. Oh well, you'll probably be able to have three rows in the bench to yourself!

Oh and if I had a season ticket I'd renew. I AM going to get a season ticket for the first time next season. I was convinced I was going to get one at the start of this but I just couldn't afford it. I will be able to get one for next season as I have more work. I have found my ideal seat in the bench ideal for an anti social Gull and I'm having it!! Even if I go to a handful of games the club will get cash and i'll be able to pay in instalments so I won't have to take the hit all in one go. Mr Candy very kindly arranged for me to do that this season too but circumstances didn't allow.

It's more the fact what those based in Torquay/close demographically will do. I personally like your self will still go local away matches what ever. But all the talk of not renewing/going again is what I wanted to raise /debate

I too, go to watch Chiefs when Torquay are away - and I have a much better time, even if they lose the match. Going to PLainmoor is painful.

Saying that, if things feel positive, I may renew my ticket - I like having the games covered up front but I tend to miss some of the midweek games so usually break even in the end. It may be that I don't renew my ticket so I don't feel compelled to go if I don't want to.

I think if I don't get one, it will just be so easy to think 'sod it, I don't think I will bother!'

same here, but prefer dogs to cats, even tho ours is outnumbered 2 to 1!

ps i bloody hate rugby!! so thats not an option!!

Living in Norway, I don't get to see to many matches anyway, but I will definetely still come over at least once a year.

Chiefs seems popular (i hate rugby though) maybe a return to Friday night football could be an option for a handful of games?

Will not renew my season ticket, did last time the club went into the conference for many reasons, can't commit £295 to watching conference football when this could have been avoided (still might) clubs been run badly in my view, there are 5 clubs with lower gates than us who are going to be entertaining Luton, Portsmouth, Plymouth etc, some with lower gates may even be in League 1 next season, while we're hosting our new local rivals forest Green ' carrot crunching' rovers, who will be on a bigger budget than us.

Other clubs got there priority's, while we didn't and now we might just pay a huge price.

Dave, you said you were going to expand on this opinion you have about the board being to blame and how the club has been badly run. I am trying to look at things objectively with an open mind rather than just saying it is all down the managers and players we have had. I still believe that they are the ones out on the pitch that can make sure we don't find ourselves in this position but perhaps this is not the sole reason we have struggled for the past few years. Can you explain in laymans terms what you mean by your view please mate? Don't worry if you don't want to. I'm just interested in another view different to mine which I can maybe try and understand better. Cheers mate.

Ive heard rumors about about our future over social media today. Normally I wouldnt listen but its worth checking. I have been out of the torquay picture for a little while due to my job taking me around the world so im always behind on information.

Ive read that if we go down we will go into administration or even worse. With mrs b pulling out any more support. Any truth in this?
