Anyone know the situation? Heard he was at the game today?

No he wasn't.

I also heard this several times. Any truth or a big wind up ? Part of me really hopes it's true. It was said that he is interested in the Manager's job.

If he or any of the other candidates were there today, they weren't sitting near the directors box.

Unless they were doing an AustrianAndyGull and came dressed as a woman :~D

It was a wind up, why on earth would Robbie Fowler leave the comfort of a TV studio to dive into management in this country with us?

Quite funny how people kept staring hard at the directors box every time his name got mentioned throughout the game.

Someone probably got him mixed up with former player Derek Fowler

Even if he was, not sure why anyone would think he would be a good manager. I wouldn't want him at all.

The goal celebrations would be a bit better under Fowler...

I've PM'd another forum member in response to a direct question, [s]he knows what I know (which amounts to the collective wisdom of this thread being half right). No one's trying to appear to know things they don't know, some people just know things.
