I'm all for bigger attendances, but it seems this group of kids are trying to start some Green Street sort of thing! Idiots.

Yes-caused quite a stir on PASOTI.They didn't expect this sort of thing from Torquay "fans". Probably a one-off.
Hopefully no further repercussions as relations between both sets of fans are pretty good.

As suggested by your post I fully expect them not to be fans. Just thugs who attach themselves to a football club as it is some sort of ' violent romance' generated by films such as Green Street who really reinforce the beliefs of 'firms'.

Unfortunately yes I did see this incident, a group of 20/30 lads aged between 16-30 gathered outside the ground after game (a few who never even went to the game just turned up) all scarfed up and hidden faces and went looking for trouble the went to the away end originally nothing was there then they came back and went down side of mcolls where they started running shouting "we are TYS" or something and attacked on a few argyle fans all dressed up,
Disgusting I hate to say it but with the coach incident at start of season then few incidents during season (Mansfield/Hartlepool) and now the smoke bomb and fighting after the game we are getting a hooligan element about our club which i find disraceful.

Can't forgive fighting and anyone who takes part in that at football (or anywhere else for that matter) is a mug.

I must admit I quite enjoyed the smoke bomb, very bundesliga!!

no doubt they bumped into the TTA the Torquay Terror Army led by Paul Bastard and his sweatbands crew. Starting to gain a reputation and casting a dark shadow over this already abysmal football club.

Mindless thugs saw them before hand walking to ground thought they where Plymouth didn't think we had an element but now clubs are finding out around the country which means eyes policing which isn't needed E****r game is going to be interesting and rovers as there previous from last season outside the ground

I anticipate some Plymouth 'youth' wanting revenge at Home Park too. Not what we need at all.

Exactly pointless behaviour now innocent fans could get caught up because 20/30 maybe even 40 lads want a fight at football what's the point, they're no need for it just appearance alone could
stop families coming as they looked intimidating and obviously had a few pints,

They claim the "TYS" are back from the 80's I hope not as it's needless and guve a out a club a bad name

My lad tells me a group of youths were recruiting others in Torquay pubs, a few nights before the game. They said they were going to "smash" Argyle fans, and wanted others to join them.
Seems a Firm is being set-up;not what we want at Torquay United,at all.

One look around certain Facebook profiles will tell you who these lads are, and they are TUFC fans; my message to them is simple, nothing I say or do will stop you from doing this this, however take it away from our ground, you claim to love and support our club, your actions will result in our club being fined and having no choice to put on extra security at extra cost, all things our club can ill afford right now.

Every action has a reaction, it appears to me reading through Facebook that a group they arranged to meet with, or was it meat with. :) Didn't show up, so did they take their frustrations out on a group that didn't want to fight, if so, that's wrong, very wrong, and will lead possibly to the same thing happening in reverse down at Plymouth.

The other thing I'll say, all very well doing this when numbers are stacked in your favour, can you go away when numbers will stacked against you and be so big ? Wind your necks in and leave it out, simples.

I remember the last lot getting a good kicking by some Brentford fans on a day when we played Barnet away.

Dave, we both know most of these lads and we also both know how it will end up, the shame is for the most part they are good lads, I'm sorry they've seen fit to start with this nonsense.

The worrying thing is I remember this group a year back and they had about 5/10 now they've grown to 30+ and I've heard a few olders are joining them for Exeter and they're expecting 60/70 as a group, this is the last thing we need right now our clubs in a state now we've had 4 band this season and a reputation of the pitch :/
