Firstly it's an excellent and very welcome offer for most of us I'm sure so thankyou to the club for this. :-D

As I am a bit simple (ask Scott - he knows ;-) ) I have a question about it if anyone would be so kind as to answer for me please.

If I came down for the Southend game would I get a tenner of the ticket orice and would it require me to purchase it on matchday or could I do it over the phone do you reckon?

Not often but I've read it today so I know about it. :na:

I would do a link but the full address thingy at the top of the screen in the address box is too long for me to see all of it and i don't know how to scroll it across to see the full set of numbers and digits. Therefore i can't type it in on here as i don't know all of the link. :-/

Sorry mate

Andy old boy, where is the sense in buying a £10 voucher, then handing it straight back for a £10 discount??

They are intended as gift-fodder.

I cannot fathom why they are not allowed to be spent in the club shop though. The club still gets their ten quid over the counter, and they'd sell more if they weren't restricted in their use.

...would only make sense if the shop were a franchise of sorts, or if the gear therein was somehow not entirely owned by TUFC.

Anybody got any insight?

It was a franchise in Vandanel times, I believe. Don't know if that's still the case in these Sondico times.

Cheers RJC. I wonder why the club are happy to surrender potential profits?

Don't know. But I remember Colin Lee championing it back when the Vandanel shop deal started.

The club shop is absolutely nothing to do with the club now, it's an entirely separate thing.

No it's not............ if you know how to do it.

Could you perform open heart surgery on someone? No, and why? Because you don't know how to do it but if a surgeon said to you that "it's really not hard" then I'm sure you'll feel offended.

I don't feel offended as it happens because I accept your comment as truly ignorant so I can now get on with things and let it go. :~D
