He won't be playing this weekend due to being called up for the ROI Under 21 squad's games v the Faroe Islands and Montenegro.
So, that's one team change then.

Oh well good for O'Connor for his footballing career but throws a spanner in the works for those of us who wanted him moved to right back to allow Pearce to return who should now, of course, do so.
Whilst I would love us to beat Chesterfield on Saturday I would settle for a display of attacking football with shots on target rather than the totally inept display against Rochdale.

Kind of pleased as it means Pearce and Downes are reunited they were developing a good understanding
Maybe time for poke to get a game?
I'd like
Poke
Tonge Pearce Downes Cruise
Chappel Mozika Mansell Cameron/Azeez
Benyon Mccallum

Azeez was useless on saturday and should have been subbed at half time

I agree R/R, as much as Pokey is our no1 keeper, Ricey has done nothing wrong and it would be harsh to drop in favour Pokey, Pokey no doubt will come back in at some stage, but not right now. Mind you that said Pearce and Cruise, enough said, who knows what AK will do.
Agreed Bert.

We could have Des O'Connor.
He would paralyse the opposition with his singing.

Good for the lad. But a shame for us. I'm very much in agreement with the proposed (on here) back four of O'Connor (RB) Pearce and Downes, with Cruise at left back. That'll have to wait for now, if ever it were to be in Knill's thoughts. Would be nice to see it tried at some point. Like Brucie, I agree Pearce should not be on the bench for a team misfiring as badly as we are. He's quality. Congratulations to O'Connor on the call up.

At the end of his loan deal, Andy.

Oh Matt, you are funnier than a female comedienne.

I was going to say funnier than Sarah Millican, but I think anybody, breathing or not, is funnier than her
