Not for one second am I saying the information Matt has provided is incorrect but I do find it a little strange that although he has signed a contract and has the squad number of 23 that nothing (either official or newspaper related) has been reported on this?
I know he may be some weeks away from full fitness but surely this is news that can be announced if he is under contract?
It might just bring a bit of positivity which is needed around the club at the moment and also a bit of a kick up the arse to the players currently holding this central midfielder spot.

There is no kick up the arse for any of the current first eleven. They all know they are guaranteed to start the first ten games, only in the 9th and 10th games will we see them start to perform and do enough to keep those spots.

It all depends on how Plainmoor's publicity men decide to play it. Possibly it's a case of keeping their powder dry for when it's most needed. Imagine if we lose again next Saturday and the TQ1 faithful get even more restless than they are already, then may be the time to unveil a new signing in an attempt to placate them.
If Mozika really is several weeks away from being match fit, then announcing him now would probably only elicit a collective sigh from The Torbay public as they moan about us signing someone who isn''t even fit enough to play, and of course they'll have forgotten about him, or their interest will have faded by the time he's in contention for the team. Alternatively if you leave it until the week before Mozika is fit enough to at least get on the subs bench for a home match you can couple a big splash on the website with the Herald Express trumpeting the new signing and hey presto, you may just add a couple of hundred paying customers to the home gate for that coming Saturday.
Just as there's a good time to bury bad news, there's also a skill in picking your moment to announce good news.

If they don't do it soon he won't be on Torquays FIFA 14 squad

He'll be expected to fit into a central midfield two rather than three as highlighted by the article on Nathan Craig on .com. today. When fit, he'll be Knill's first name on the teamsheet I would've thought. Probably best to leave it until he's nearing a starting berth. Who knows, he might only be on a prove yourself deal at the moment. Unlikely, for his calibre, but not beyond the realms.

What? Do you mean that one of Knill's strikers is going to score another goal? ( Don't count Benyon he was re-introduced to the club by Taylor. )..........Surely not.

Yeah, perhaps if they get some service. At least when Tezza says stuff that stupid, he's doing it to protect his reputation.
Matt.

He was sat behind me on the Bench on Saturday. Left his seat with about 5 minutes to go. I then saw him leave in his car as I was walking past the away-end turnstiles. He was watching on his own, the only reaction I noticed him giving during the game was a groan when Cameron mis-controlled a pass.

With an internal monologue of "what the hell am I doing here" on repeat I imagine!

Yeah, I was tempted to ask him if he thought he could sort it out or not.

It makes us sound like Man U doesn't it? "Torquay's publicity men"
If Mozika has signed then tell us please TUFC. This is not world series poker it's league 2 football. Has he signed or hasn't he? I'm a grown man (some may say that is debatable

) and all I want to know is what is happening. This isn't MI6, we're not secretly temporarily storing the crown jewels inside a vault in the bench, we're not harbouring an alien craft that landed on Warbro road during the excitement of last weeks game against York.
We simply have an above average league 2 midfielder flitting around at the club and we want to know if he has signed or not. Is this too difficult?
I doubt there would be one extra body inside Plainmoor off the back of a Herald splash hinting that Mozika was to be on the bench in a particular game. If he started we might get a handful. Hardly a revenue buster.
I can totally understand Alpine Joes point and I accept that that is how things are done but IMO it's hilarious.
