Loan signings

According to an interview Alan Knill provided to the BBC, he is "very unlikely to look to bring new players to Plainmoor on loan".

It does say further down that it could change if we get players out, but I thought it was interesting that he isn't planning to bring anybody else in.

Mistake? Or is he right to persevere with the players we have, albeit that he doesn't rate some of them?

He said he would give the current squad 10 games so I expect him to give this period before looking at other options. Apart from Ball, who may get extended (and if not a replacement brought in) I expect little movement in the loan market for a couple of months.

What we've got is fine, provided he sees the error of good ways re: Harding. It's not ALL BH, I'll grant you, but he is a very large part of the problem. We've seen first hand the advantage a team might enjoy by having the best midfielder in the division, well, the inverse is also true, being lumbered with the worst midfielder is a burden no team could carry without noticeable detriment.

I don't see the point of getting in loan signings now, he needs to work with the squad and get them working the way he wants them to work. Rushing into getting loanees is stupid. Save that money for January if we need it.

Feel of this article seems strange if Mozika is about to join us, not on loan I know, but still strange timing.

Not really, the loan window opened yesterday, so it makes sense that the club are open and transparent with the fans in that we won't be looking to sign anyone on loan. DM doesn't fit the category for two reasons which you have already identified.
