Or an away game seeing United play, where do you go for your football fix? If anywhere?. I'm Torquay through and through so I'd never choose another team over united but I do need a Saturday or Tuesday night game wherever and whoever is involved.

I tend to watch Leeds or Huddersfield due to my friends support one or the other, Huddersfield is my preferred choice because of costs but for atmosphere it has to be Leeds.

Since moving away from Torquay I haven't seen too many live games. Given the choice I would rather listen to Torquay on Gullsplayer than watch another side that I don't have a connection with, which only leaves 12pm Saturday kick-offs, Sundays and weeknights when Torquay aren't playing.

At uni I went to watch a few Lancaster games a year, but despite living in Aberdeen for 3 years I have only watched them play three times, plus two Scotland matches at Pittodrie. £24 a ticket for a standard of football not a million miles above L2 isn't too appealing, but since Rangers have left the league and there is a bit more to play for, interest has grown in Aberdeen and I would like to see them a few more times this season if the dates suit.

Giant Axe FTW!

I used to live about 5 minutes from there. Was a fun place to watch a game. Even went down to Sixfields with them when they got to the FA Cup first round.

Occasionaly go to Forest Green. USed to go to Brissle Rovers and still have a few friends from those days but haven't been for ages.
Keep promising myself I will go to see Yate Town one day but I never seem to have the time. Then when I have I have no money.

I'll occasionally go down the road to watch Chesterfield but paying so much to watch a game of footy where I don't actually support either team has meant I don't go so much now. I go to Matlock Town and I've got Sheffield FC v Scarborough Athletic (the reincarnation of Scarborough FC) pencilled in for a few months time. I will go in the Scabbyrough end as I have a soft spot for the seadogs.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

A few years ago I did used to go see East Preston FC play a few games in the Sussex County Leagues. I almost last season decided to stop listening on a Saturday and go and watch them instead. I didn't in the end but I am hoping to go and see them play a few games as they have (just like last season) started off really well ( won 6-0 on Monday ) and I read they have ambitions to play in the Ryman League so will be interesting to see if they can achieve promotion. Going by the first few games, they certainly look like one of the teams to beat.

Had a shocking week all round compounded by the fact that I was meant to visiting the hallowed Plainmoor on Saturday and now i'm not. I still fancy a football fix so I think i'm going to take the 10 minute train ride to Alfreton to watch Lathaniel Rowe-Turner in action against Barnet. He is on loan at the Impact Arena from Luton. I'm also going to go in the Barnet end for a laugh.

Scrap this, I can't be arsed. Just going to waste my afternoon on here, relaxing, betting and eating crap.

Once again the weather forecasters couldn't find their arses with both hands, "warming up" they said, "a ridge of high pressure making it feel rather pleasant" they said, "temperatures getting into the high teens" they said.

What they didn't say that they were a bunch of liars and they get paid for getting things wrong.

IT'S BLOODY FREEZING OUT THERE!!! :@ :@

No sun, no warmth and no Alfreton v Barnet game. I can't be bothered.

You might well see a friend of mine in the Barnet end, Andy. You'll recognise him straight away as hes a behemoth. He would make SG look like Justin Bieber.

Off to see Sheffield FC (who play in Dronfield) take on the mighty seadogs of Scarborough Athletic on Tuesday night. I drive past the ground every day but I've never been to a game there. Apparently the other week they held the world's oldest derby there between Sheffield FC and Hallam.

Sheffield FC are the world's oldest football club and a few years back had the services of our former hero David Graham to call upon.

I don't know how much it will be to get in, i'm off in with the seadogs. I'll pop in tomorrow. How much are non league games these days? Anyone know? I think they are in the northern counties or evo stick or whatever it is. It can't be more than a tenner surely?
