So which team would win ...

.... bit of fun, with one or two in makeshift positions and having to ditch Ricey in order to name a keeper, who do we think would win this little battle!

Old XI

Rice;
Oastler, Saah, Leadbitter, Halpin;
Macklin, Easton, Morris, Stevens;
Howe, Jarvis;
sub: Baker

v

Current XI

Poke;
Cruise, McKenzie, Downes, Nicholson;
Thompson, Lathrope, Mansell, Craig;
Bodin, Yeoman,
sub: Hutchings, Sullivan;

I think the current team would certainly edge it in terms of defence/midfield .... but offensively I don't think so....

Team 2 Chris, not even close for me. ;-)

Lathrope to the bench, Craig in the middle, Sullivan up front with Yeoman and Bodin out wide left would probably fix the creativity/attacking problems. Obviously, Cruise isn't a RB, but I take your point about makeshift positions for some.

Team 2 looks alright, it won't win anything, but it's probably not one of the two worst teams in the division.

Team 2 certainly WOULD struggle to stay in the league. It is a lot weaker than than the one that just stayed up by the skin of its teeth.

But it is minus the real cause of the problems which Team 1 suffered last year, so it's a push.
