Come on Port Vale

Post by nickbrod »

Last time out at home they put SEVEN past Burton, surely tonight at home to Aldershot the unthinkable can't happen. If it does we'll be in the bottom two.
Come on Port Vale!

Expect Aldershot to win 1-0. Always the way, especially with our luck.
Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!

Unlikely as it may seem, given the aggro about the masks a few years back, I'm rooting for that villain Lee Hughes tonight!! ( I got into terrible trouble using my work email to slag off Notts County's chairman about the Lee Hughes fiasco!)
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

I think we want wins for Port Vale (by a big margin please, 7-0 would do nicely), Bradford, Wycombe and Rotherham. The first three of these would suit Torquay's purposes better, but a Port Vale victory is critical for us. A Rotherham win would damage the play off hopes of those Grecian barstewards, and I want this just because I do.

A win for Rotherham would also give them more to play for when they came to play Plymouth.

I agree, it would then serve two good purposes, stuffing the Grecians and, perhaps, stuffing the Argyle. :na:

But Yeovil aren't playing. If they were I'd want them to lose too. Grass chewing simpletons.

Vale are nailed on don't worry, i've put them in my accumulator too! :'(

3-0 Vale, Shots won't get a look in tonight you have my word.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Exeter 3-0 down after half an hour BR 2-0 down at Bradford - Thank god thats their play off hopes out the window.
No gaols at Port Vale - got a seriously bad feeling about that one now.
