Does anyone know what the situation is with Poke? One source i read said he had an injury and another said he had a mystery virus or something? Will he be in goal on saturday?

Rice was actually warming up before the challenge. I stand in the popside and was close to the challenge, it didnt look that bad and he didnt need any treatment so my guess is that it wasnt from the challenge.

He has a rib injury sustained on Friday which was aggravated by the challenge that 'didn't look too bad'. He needed treatment, hence he went straight off and straight down the tunnel.

If your "source" is better than Alan Knill, then I'll believe you. He's got a rib injury.

According to quotes from Damian Davey in Herald Express Poke was in hospital on Sunday for tests and was to have more this week. Don't think the rib injury is correct.

according to matt unless your source is better than alan knill then its a rib injury!

And by that I stand. It's a rib injury. This isn't Jonathan Creek. Im not Mystic Meg. It was a key element of Knilly's post match interview.

I cant see Poke being fit for the Gillingham. Chest infection, rib injury you just dont get over that in a few days.
