Didn't see this one coming - that could be a real nail in the coffin.

The blithe optimism on the OS is ironic in that it highlights just how inadequate our replacements are. Morris and Craig... wow, they are really going to get stuck in and score vital, ugly goals...

Pleased for Joss who has clearly revived his career whilst with us but make no mistake this is a big blow. Now Craig needs to step up and turn his potential into positive form. He needs to be told to shoot as he has a great left foot.

Joss NOT arriving at Plainmoor would see us rock bottom of the league, his goals and impetus have given us hope. Now we go back to how we were before he came. No hope now i'm afraid.

Because he's scored 4 goals in 7 games, played well by all accounts, contract is up in the summer so they want to see if he's worth a new deal. Can certainly see why they've done it, as much as it pains me to say it. Gutted.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, this is an absolute hammer blow and I fear it will without doubt just make the situation too hard for us to get out of. Joss was top-drawer for us, sadly this highlights the complete incompetence on the part of the board to build the squad required before it was too late. It's going to take an absolute miracle for us to survive and as has been mentioned the squad lacks the spirit and belief of the Atkins season. After the optimism which followed the Chesterfield and York results, I really am resigned to going down now. I just hope the club has enough about it to stabilise next year, however I can't be sure of that. What a state of affairs, unbelievable when you think about recent history.

Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm looking forward to going to Lincoln and Braintree................
