what a pleasant surprise to be able to vote for my man of the match tonight. One thing about TV. I can actually see who our players are by name for a change.
Pokey. easily for keeping us in the match.
Brian Saah for sterling performance in defence
Aaron Downes likewise.
Rene for working his socks off.
Oastler or Nicho for working besides Aaron and Brian.
In fact i would go so far to say the whole defence was brilliant tonight.
One little thing that those who went to the match wouldn't have noticed was when our penalty was awarded
Rene was preparing to take the penalty. Danny Coles the Excretia defender tried to put him off by saying to him. You will miss.
Rene's reply was " I don't miss penalties". Thankj heavens he scored or he would have been looking a little sheepish.
Priceless non the less.
ooiii oo stopped me having my smilies
