I'd like to propose a competition.

Ok, here goes. I've just seen WisconsinGull's profile picture and it has set my mind to work.

I propose a competition here to see who can post a photo of them representing the club in the best place.

Some rules:

No Photoshop or similar, you have to actually have been there.

Representing the club involves displaying the club crest at the location, not merely being there yourself.

Wearing a replica (or indeed a real) shirt does not count, unless 'The Panel' (me) judges that the wearing of the shirt is so inappropriate that it ought to count (if, for example, you are pictured wearing nothing but shorts and the shirt at the North Pole, this would count. Equally, just the shirt while SCUBA diving somewhere exotic is ok. Finally, wearing the shirt to over the top of a DJ at the RAH for the Last Night of the Proms would also be acceptable).

There is no requirement for you to be in the photo, only the crest, although extra points will be awarded if your merchandise is being modelled by a pretty girl.

Not sure what the prize will be, maybe a 6 week ban for Austrian Andy (although this is likely to be a gift to us all) or something.

Happy snapping.

Matt.

:red:

Maybe the mods should devise a disciplinary system for users of the forum whereby any poster overstepping the mark or complaining too much gets a yellow card, or a warning if you like and any persistence in these undesirable behaviours results in a red card :red: which means the user is suspended for a week!

Any severely detrimental posts could receive a straight red and would mean a 2 week forced abstinence from the site. We could publish a disciplinary table and no doubts i would be the Lee Cattermole of TUFC Fans.com and sit proudly at the top. :)

By contrast, any poster who constantly agrees with everybody all of the time should be put forward for a special award in recognition of fair play and be presented with an exclusive Swarovski crystal angel complete with attached halo, win a holiday in africa doing voluntary work for the red cross and also the proud knowledge that they will be in great company with other reputable sporting angels like Gary Lineker. o:)

Back on topic though Matt, great idea. Does Skegness count as i doubt i'll be going anywhere like the North Pole or the Great Barrier Reef in a hurry? Failing that i could post a picture of me having a dump in the portakabin when we go to Accy, there isn't a place on earth more exotic than in there i can asure you. I'll have a go when i get the chance but why can't you be pictured wearing a shirt in a photo?

Red card action should be a night chauffeur driven by Matt in his orange car around Brighton.

You can Andy, but 'just' wearing the shirt doesn't count. You have to be making a deliberate effort, which is why inappropriate shirtage is acceptable.
