Saw this on another forum and thought I'd post it here. An interesting read. Surprised to see we are joint second in the goals conceded from Open play stat!

That's a really good read Alex. At least what they said about our away performances ties in with what i've been moaning about. At least i'm not moaning on purpose!

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

50% of our goals from open play have come from the right hand side of our defence, the second highest in the FL, whilst 0% have come from the left. What's that about Joe Oastler's performances?

It's only because we've spent 90% of our away games defending therefore he gets noticed by the sheer amount of work he has to do. Lings tactics don't involve going forward away from home therefore he hasn't had chance to help create anything plus the fact that he has had Billy playing on the left who doesn't create anything anymore.

Our postion in table looks to be better than last season - see below
With DL back in the chair and Mansell free to roam up the pitch I feel we could be in for another exciting season Bristol Rovers next up - have it!
