Karl Baker signs!

Post by Yellow4life »

The trialist from Sunday league team wheel power signed a permanent deal last week. I spoke to their manager today who revealed this.

There has been no news on this elsewhere though...

Close, it was 58-0 and it wasn't Baker who is particularly noted as getting a load of goals. - http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/8 ... story-58-0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have nothing against signing raw talent from outside of league football but usually they are very young where is Karl not past his developing years (early 20's)?

I might be wrong on this but seem to remember this was what was reported when he came on trial?

I scored a load of goals once when my team i used to play in beat Thorne Coronation ( near Scunny ) 54-0. I WAS 12 years old at the time though! Can I get a contract at Plainmoor too?

No, seriously. If he turns out to be any good then superb. I'm all for Martin trying out raw, inexperienced youngsters than experienced pro's who aren't interested.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Weird the club has not confirmed this yet. Any idea on the length of contact?
